Greetings again.  They are getting ready to put on the concrete roof.

They have made progress in the short time they have been building the school.

Greetings ! The long awaited time has come to start the construction work of the Promo project at Kulasai. On July 26, 2021, we laid the corner stones as a symbol of initiating the work with the participation of local village people. Fr. Promilton Lobo visited the construction site and blessed the work. The students, the youth, the married women, the elders of the village, teachers, Rev. Sisters,  Fr Promilton Lobo and Fr Victor Lobo placed the stones as a symbol of initiating the construction work.  For more than a month, we did some preparatory activities such as getting the  quotation of the contractors and construction materials. At last we have chosen the one who quoted the lower quotation for the labour contract. A licenced Civil engineer would visit the site very often and give enough guidance to proceed the work rightly.

We want to help in the Udangudi School Construction by fundraising for the material needed.

The foundations have been laid.  The parish has no funds to buy the material to get started on building the school.

The school will welcome 125 primary school children.  They currently study in a very dilapidated building which is unsafe for them.

​

Together we can make a difference - brick by brick we can build the school for the children and put a roof over their heads.
